  • Ecology of the Coastline. Especially for British Science Week, Local resident Dr. John Simnett visits our local beach and explains about the ecology. Watch the video here.

  • The RNLI saves lives at Sea https://rnli.org/about-us . They build their own boats in Poole, Dorset and there is a raft of activity available to undertake activities with children of all ages and stages:   https://rnli.org/youth-education.

  • In North Tyneside we have two lifeboat stations, the nearest being Cullercoats. At 10.30am on Sunday 7th March, on Facebook, members of the Cullercoats crew will run a live video plus Q and A session about their volunteering roles and include how science is important.
